New thing! The Training (class) of Witch


I have just uploaded a class descriptor, which I call a "training". This is the training of the witch. In The Wyrd Lands, the witch is what we sometimes today call a shaman - they are a spirit-worker. The term is ungendered (as it was originally). 

These are qualitative classes, in which you the player will decide on being an Apprentice, a Wright (journeyman) or Master and then gain the broad skills and competencies associated with that. In the case of the Witch, this is all about spirit-travel and contending with good and wicked spirits to help and harm others. 

The second thing you might see about this is the layout! I will go into this more elsewhere but the basic idea is that the game text is going to take the form of an in-universe book. This will treat The Wyrd Lands as though it is a historical game that has survived down to the present day. What you the reader are looking at is a library copy of a facsimile edition of a medieval version of this game. Therefore, it has editors comments, fragments, and hand written notes from readers of the book. 

In this little fragment it may be a bit disorienting, and I am really open to feedback on it. But at any rate, I hope it is interesting! 

I am hoping to do a string of these trainings over the next month, so please keep an eye out if you think they might interesting/inspiring for your own play.
